The 1927 Peace Silver Dollar – This historic 13 cent stamp marking the 50th anniversary of the first solo transatlantic flight was issued May 20, 1977 – The Panel is postmarked May 20th, the anniversary of the start of Lindbergh’s epic journey – THE ‘Lone Eagle’ had become the most famous man in the world, after beginning a 33 1/2 hour flight on the morning of May 20th in Long Island and ending at Paris’ Le Borgeet Airport – The Spirit of St Louis has made the flight! THe 1927 Peace Silver Dollar, with a mintage of only 848,000 coins is composed of 90% silver and 10% copper – The coin here, is Uncirculated (not graded) and in excellent condition –
Turn of the century, Cast Iron Double Wheel Hand Crank Coffee Grinder Swift Mill
TURN BACK TIME! This ‘coffee mill’ once sat in a local grocery store that was torn down years ago to make room for a mall – the manager of the “A&P Store” took the coffee mill home and used it to continue to grind and sell coffee to friends and family – now, it is available to you….while its ability to grind coffee are questionable at best, when you get that old you wont be able to do as much as you once could either, it is still the quintessential idea of what it once took America to be what it has now become – Made of cast iron and wood, a bald eagle adorns the top – two wood handles turn the metal wheels on each side and a wooden drawer on the bottom to fetch the greatest coffee, the A&P ever made – some of the internal parts have been removed – believed to have been made in the late 1800’s to the early 1900’s –

Vintage FIRE CHIEF No. 503 Pedal Car
The Fire Chief No. 503 Pedal Car, well….it’s more than a great find – it brings back all of those childhood memories in a flash! Complete with front bell ringing, steering, seat, pedals and the rubber tires, while showing the signs of time – a little rust here and there – everything works, and you can tell this came from a child who took care of their Fire Chief! What a prize possession for anyone to have today – IT may be that project for full restoration, or if you are the ‘purist’ in the family, it makes a great show piece just as it is!

This vintage framed art work by Will Rafuse is tremendous – the use of lovely colors and great expressions and the eyes of whom we believe to be ‘Emile’ or ‘Vincent’ – Rafuse has names for all of his characters, and often times they change from write up to write up – but dont let the name hold you back, the colors and the eyes alone are enough to move you to purchae this vibrant print – very well framed with stacked matting – approximately, 12.5 x 15 – IT is also difficult to determine if ‘Emile’ or ‘Vincent’ is the waiter or the bar tender ?
